When I first started this Substack, I wasn’t entirely sure what shape it might take.
It began as a space to follow my curiosity; through sound, stillness, and whatever thoughts arose at the time. And it has become that, but it’s also growing into something far more intentional.
As you may know, I’ve just moved from the London to Kyoto. I’m writing from a small desk here, with the windows wide open to the sound of nature and all that surrounds me. And I’ve spent the past week quietly reshaping this Substack. Clarifying what it is, why it exists, and what I want to offer with this little corner of the internet.
I’ve updated the About page, reworked the welcome letter, and shaped a paid tier system that I hope feels thoughtful and generous. There are now monthly digital postcards from Kyoto, exclusive soundwalks, and a download of my latest album Meditations — all offered as a thank-you to those who support my letters directly.
If you’re a free subscriber, thank you. Truly. Your presence is already a gift. But if you feel drawn to support this journey a little more deeply, here’s a gentle invitation to become a paid subscriber:

Whether free or paid, I’m grateful you’re here. This space doesn’t need to be loud to matter. Your quiet presence is also felt. And I will continue to post free letters; that won't change.
More soon,
