I do love the idea of mentorship, it is a beautiful thing if you can find it in your life. I can relate to the conversation you had with your friend Simon. I get frustrated with my self often and being unable to make ideas happen but it is my fault and the fear of putting my self out there. I need to be more confident.
Confidence comes with time, Frankie. It's all about being knocked down 7 times and getting up 8. It's a 'skill' that needs to be practiced and learned just like an instrument unfortunately. Some are quicker than others (it took me such a long time too, and I'm still working on it), but keep going and you'll get there I promise.
