I love this. Mixing traditionally acoustic sounding instruments with synthesizers and tape loops and noises is pretty essential for me at PC. I love the way you are doing it here, I t’s a great combination.
Thank you Peter! Yeah that’s definitely a nice way of doing it. I’ve never gotten into tape loops but have always wanted to do it. Degrading the electronic sounds in an analog way like that is always something I’d love to try. Do you have a particular tape recorder you prefer to use?
Between work and home, I have a few hand held recorders that I have used, but these days I am more likely to record things I come across with my phone and drop them into beats I am working on where I can mess around with them. It’s just so easy to do today and all the different possible sounds are almost limitless.
